I've won 3 Smash Ultimate majors (Glitch 7, Glitch 8.5, Battle of BC 3), top 8'd multiple times throughout Smash 4 and Smash Ultimate and was ranked within the top 6 players worldwide in Super Smash Brothers Brawl.

I would say my biggest challenges are my consistency and willingness to play defensively. I am very much a player that plays to hit my opponent, and this can often backfire when playing against players who are very ready for what I want to do. It has been difficult and I have beat some of those players, but dedicated all that energy to playing like that consistently in a tournament setting is very difficult.

I find that breaking down your own gameplay into simple phases really helps you remove the use of mental energy when you are playing neutral. Being able to break things down simply allows you to put a lot more mental energy into what your opponent is doing whether it is to get around what you are doing successfully, or what they are doing when you have them where you want. The game can be broken down into a few different phases and having a lot of energy for when you are getting your hits, in my opinion, is incredibly important because you are able to take stocks from your opponent very consistently with just a few reads.
