Doubt. Sometimes I would doubt my own abilities and then I remember what I achieved in the past. I remember I can continue to do that/do it again. In the game, I've also faced bracket demons. To overcome them, I just kept in mind that anyone is beatable, and I watched them play a lot and understood them more and more, which helped. For example, Marss beat me 6 or 7 times in a row before I finally beat him once.

Keeping in mind specific player habits while fighting them; taking deep breaths in between games to keep calm; practicing match-ups in some way shape or form, which is a given; and warming up beforehand.
